Enjoy your summer in the mountains
family activities & hiking in South Tyrol

The alpine landscape and the vast network of hiking and biking trails offer you totally unique nature experiences. Some of the highlights include, for example, Lake Braies, Lake Anterselva, or the beautiful pasture Prato Piazza. Fill your farm holidays in Valdaora with leisure activities that are fun for the entire family or simply enjoy the soothing peace and quiet in the Pusteria Valley for a few days. Wonderful relaxation in clear mountain air is guaranteed in any case.

Hiking at Plan de Corones &
in the Nature Park Fanes-Sennes-Braies

During your hikes on the extensive alpine plateau of Plan de Corones, breathtaking views of the Dolomites and the Alps will always accompany you. You may hike to the summit in just under four hours – or alternatively simply take the cable car starting directly from Valdaora. You may even transport strollers! Once at the top, you may choose the panoramic trail Concordia 360° or the Via Artis, dedicated to art and culture.

During your hikes in the Nature Park Fanes-Sennes-Braies, your path leads past gentian, arnica, and edelweiss, along mountain pines and stone pines and with a bit of luck, a chamois or roe deer will cross your path. Enjoy an excursion to the alpine pasture Fanes, past the “Parliament of the Marmots”. Maybe you are looking for a peak experience on your hiking holidays in South Tyrol? Among others, you may find it on the 2,810-metre Seekofel (Croda del Becco).

A more leisurely option is the round trail “Olang Almenrunde”. Of course, also thanks to a break at an alpine hut that serves dumplings and “Kaiserschmarren”. Or are you looking forward to taking the kids on a relaxed walk through the meadows and fields around the farm Vordermoarhof?
